Dr. Agam Patel, MD, FACC
Dr. Patel is a distinguished interventional cardiologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. With a passion for healing and a commitment to excellence, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice.
Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware before pursuing his medical education at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His academic prowess and clinical acumen led to his election into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society during medical school.
Following medical school, Dr. Patel completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital in the vibrant city of New York. It was during this time that he was recognized for his exceptional compassion and patient-centered approach, receiving the Eileen Gong Weiner Award for Compassionate Care.
Driven by his commitment to excellence, Dr. Patel pursued fellowship training in General and Interventional Cardiology at the renowned Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. During his fellowship, he dedicated a year to mastering complex endovascular interventions, with a particular focus on achieving clinical success without the need for open surgery.
Dr. Patel is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. His expertise spans across multiple subspecialties within medicine, allowing him to provide comprehensive and personalized care to his patients.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Patel is a prolific researcher, having authored and published eight research papers in prominent medical journals. His contributions to the field have helped advance our understanding of cardiovascular disease and improve patient outcomes.
As a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Dr. Patel remains actively engaged in professional organizations and continues to stay at the forefront of advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
