UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE
Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and graduated magna cum laude before pursuing his medical education at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His academic prowess and clinical acumen led to his election into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society during medical school.
RESIDENCY
Following medical school, Dr. Patel completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. It was during this time that he was recognized for his exceptional compassion and patient-centered approach, receiving the Eileen Gong Weiner Award for Compassionate Care.

Driven by his commitment to excellence, Dr. Patel pursued fellowship training at the world-renowned Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas in General Cardiovascular Disease. He then completed a second fellowship in Interventional Cardiovascular Disease. During his fellowship he dedicated a year to mastering complex endovascular interventions and is proud to have learned cutting edge treatments that few people in the world can offer.
